El Presidente Municipal, Saúl Monreal Ávila, comprometido en dar cumplimiento a su palabra de alumbrar a Fresnillo, llegó a la colonia Esparza para encender el cien por ciento de las lámparas y con ello brindar mayor seguridad y tranquilidad a todos los colonos.
La reunión se realizó en la calle Carrillo Puerto, tomando las precauciones de sana distancia y con el cubrebocas un grupo de personas ya lo esperaban para agradecerle que, cada vez hay más obras y acciones para su colonia, la cual ahora está iluminada.
Monreal Ávila, por su parte, agradeció las muestras de apoyo, pero también aprovechó para solicitar a que se concientice sobre el cuidado de las lámparas, pues de ello depende que el servicio sea duradero y cumplirá con la finalidad de brindar seguridad a todos. Se explicó, que se colocaron 211 lámparas que hacían falta en esta colonia popular, la cual cabe destacar es una de las de más antigüedad y que requería de este servicio
